Who said it: Anne Shirley or Felicity King?

Author: Adriana Pacheco

We all know that Anne Shirley and Felicity King are completely different people, Anne was an orphan girl who grew up in a difficult home, until finding her place at Green Gables. Anne uses her imagination daily to find new adventures and to make life interesting. Felicity on the other hand has always been in Avonlea, taking care of the King farm and helping around the house. Her family was well fed and supported. She enjoys rules and enforces them, leaving little room for imagination, although she always finds a way to have fun.

So who said these lines? Anne Shirley or Felicity King? Both girls are witty and inspiring, but these words only belong to one of them.

1."How will I ever be able to show my face in public again?"

Felicity

2."I have enough creativity to imagine my life without you."

Felicity

3."I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."

Anne

4."...here’s a tip, don’t brush your teeth with a brick."

Felicity

5."Because when you are imagining, you might as well imagine something worthwhile."

Anne

6."Next to trying and winning, the best thing is trying and failing."

Anne

7."...why is it that just when you meet the right person, you meet the wrong person?"

Felicity

8."My life is a perfect graveyard of buried hopes."

Anne

9."Which would you rather be if you had the choice–divinely beautiful or dazzlingly clever or angelically good?"

Anne

10."It is ever so much easier to be good if your clothes are fashionable."

Anne
