Morgan Harris was the son of Mrs. Harris and widowed father of Emmeline Harris. Morgan took a fondness to Anne and her feisty personality after their many encounters. AFTER PLAYING the wealthy bachelor who tries — unscuccessfully – to woo Anne Shirley in Anne of Green Gables: the Sequel, Frank Converse went on to perform in a number of television’s most popular dramas, including Murder She Wrote, All My Children, The Practice, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Lipstick Jungle and most recently, Law & Order.
The American actor, born in St. Louis, Missouri and now in his fourth decade of acting, had many credits under his belt well before Anne: The Sequel aired in 1987. Frank is perhaps best known for his work in the 60s and 70s on such series as Coronet Blue, NYPD. and Movin’On. He starred alongside Blythe Danner and Bing Crosby in the miniseries Dr. Cook’s Garden and was seen in some of the 70’s biggest hit shows, such as The Mod Squad, The Love Boat, Rhoda and Bionic Woman.
In addition to film and television, Frank often returned to his roots on the stage and starred on Broadway in The Philadelphia Story and A Streetcar Named Desire, to name just a few. He is currently married with four children.
