Bailey's Bread Stuffing

It's almost American Thanksgiving! And we all know this classic holiday dinner isn't complete without Bailey's Bread Stuffing!

This easy and delicious recipe has been around May Bailey's family for generations! Honey, Toppy, Grace and the rest of the Bailey women all use this recipe to this day!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 loaf of white bread
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp poultry seasoning or Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Start by ripping the slices of bread into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. If the bread seems a bit too dry, add more water.
  4. Stuff turkey and let the stuffing cook inside, or wrap in foil on a baking tray and let the stuffing cook in the oven for 45 minutes.
  5. To make the top crusty, remove the foil for the last 15 minutes.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!
