Felicity's Cherry Pie

No one knows how to make a cherry pie better than Felicity! Just don’t let Sara get her hands on it!

Ingredients

Base

  • 1 1/2 cups finely ground graham cracker crumbs
  • 6 tsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pie plate

Filling and top

  • Frozen pie top pastry
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F
  2. Assemble the base of the pie by mixing together ground graham cracker crumbs, butter and cinnamon.
  3. Press the mixture into the pie plate to create the pie base.
  4. Pour the can of cherries into the pie base.
  5. Using strips of pie pastry, layer the dough across the cherries.
  6. Make sure there are holes or insert slits yourself using a knife.
  7. Bake for 40 - 45 minutes in the oven.
  8. Cover the pie with foil after 15 minutes to prevent burning.
  9. Let cool before serving and enjoy!
